Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Hastings / Sunrise

When we were lead to our table we were offered to check our coats. The atmosphere was lively and very busy. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started off sharing a Crab Cake, It was very tender and hot. I had the Filet Mignon with Béarnaise sauce and my wife had the Salmon Wellington with a Tarragon sauce(not Béarnaise). Both dinners were very good. I guess my only complaint would be the vegetables were under done, they were still crunchy. The desserts were incredible. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Vancouver.

Miku is truly one of our favorite restaurants in Vancouver! The food is consistently outstanding, offering a perfect blend of flavors and presentation. Our visit to Nightingale was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the service and ambiance set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The food was beyond incredible—each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our server, Colwyn, who truly made the evening special. He was not only attentive and caring but also incredibly thoughtful with his recommendations. His warm and welcoming demeanor made our first meal in Vancouver a highlight of our trip. I booked open table and got a very nice standard table Not noisy at all so we could talk n at least hear each other I had tuna tartare as appetizer And than Salmon in honey mustard and alternated vegetables for mashed potatoes My family had steak and French onion soup Than to finish off our dinner we had their mud pie Everything was so delicious Everything was perfectly done
