Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Melville

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best experience. Bobby and Iffy were our waiters and were so kind and quick. The food was amazing, as always. The service was impeccable. We really felt cared for. I also appreciate the suggestions and help from Iffy when we were indecisive on what to order, he steered us in the right direction. Really appreciate the care and quality of service we received. Will definitely be returning!

Anna, our server, was so kind and right on point. Anna, as all staff, was professional and accommodating. Food was very good. Huge portions. Always a doggie bag.

My wife and I had an excellent meal last night at The Halston. Started with some wine from a fairly extensive but reasonably priced beverage list and proceeded to order a Tuna Sashimi appetizer followed by 2 entrees that we shared which were the prime sirloin steak and the Nova Scotia salmon. The steak came to the table sliced into about 15 slices and cooked perfect to medium rare. The salmon was broiled and came with some roasted corn. We ordered some creamed spinach as well and shared a brownie for dessert. Our server Chris was attentive but not bothersome and all in all, a great meal. We will return for another meal in the near future.

Excellent and warm service. Food was great. I think it is the best restaurant of the Scotto Group.

Very nice, cool place. No vegan options though but my dining partner had some beautiful carrots with her meat dish. I don’t know how noise level gets graded in the first part of the survey but it was hard to hear and I had to lean across the table to hear my friend. And it wasn’t crowded at lunchtime.
