Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Monte Rio

Lunch with friends in from out of town - really good catfish po'boy, rib meat salad, fried chicken sliders and salad.

We had a lovely but late for us Valentines Day lunch. Nice window view of all the spring mustard to view. My husband had the duck and i had the Famous Mongolian Pork Chop and he had crème brûlée and i had the Lime Pie and we had cappuccinos . It was a lovely lunch and we met a nice couple visiting from Florida and enjoyed getting to visit with them

We came for afternoon tea service and enjoyed the experience. There was a nice variety of tea to choose from (each person gets one pot) and all the small bites (savory and sweet) were unique and delicious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and service was timed appropriately. They allowed us to bring our dog and treated him kindly. Also, the unique character and ambiance of the hotel are perfect for this type of experience.

Every dish was wonderful. We had between the 4 of us steak & frites, French onion soup, seafood, risotto, bone marrow & escargot, salad with goat cheese, and a killer bread pudding made with croissant. Yum. And the service was especially good. Our waiter, very attentive and knowledgeable. Bistro Jeanty is one special place and has been for many many years. It has maintained its quality and devotion to French bistro food. Thank you. 

The Food was excellent . Our waiter Brian is the greatest . And the GM John is great. Thank You for great service and a great evening. Michael
