Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Plaza

Best Italian food I have in Vegas ! The duck confit pizza was out of this world. The cauliflower starter was full of flavors. The tuna crudo and the roasted beet salad were so delicious

The Golden steer is a classic steakhouse in every sense of the word. It's absolutely understandable why the who's who of Old Vegas used to frequent the golden steer! Everything from the cocktails through the meal and into dessert was first rate. Love the tableside Caesar and cherries jubilee! The steak and lobster tail were excellent. It's certainly a little spendy, but for what you get I felt like it was a wonderful value for a special evening that I will not forget. This may have been my first but will not be my last visit here!

The food and staff at Mon Ami Gabi were top notch. Service was quick, friendly and professional. The food we ordered came out quickly and was delicious. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and the outdoor seating has a front row view of the Bellagio fountains. The prices are what you would expect for fine dining on the Las Vegas Strip, overall it was a great experience and I would go again the next time I am in the area.

We enjoyed our experience at Oscar’s. The atmosphere sitting in the glass dining room is what makes this place nice for us. The server was very nice just a bit slow for our preference. The steaks, sides, salads and lobster bisque soup all were excellent. I wouldn’t recommend the burger. For $24 it was overcooked and unimpressive. No joke an In-N-Out burger is much tastier. Lots of competition among steakhouses in Las Vegas. This is a legendary one but it’s not in our top 5 in town.

A very hidden gem. Yula was our server, you want his section if you go! Best. Service. Ever!! Attentive but not hovering. Friendly and engaging but not intrusive. Knew the menu like the back of his hand! We are Las Vegas locals, on a mission to try new places. Ended up with a reservation here on Valentine’s Day because Redwood was one of the few places that wasn’t fully booked and wasn’t going to be a $500 meal. Never had we stepped foot in the California Hotel casino or this restaurant. We’ve both been here a long time and never gone. Pleasantly surprised that the noise level the cleanliness and all around everything about this place. Valet was $30 but as an emerald card holder with Boyd gaming it was free for us.  I had the seafood cioppino and my husband had the 12 ounce lobster tail. Market price on that was like $65 and my soup was 46 I think. It was loaded with seafood, and I had no regrets about spending that kind of price on a bowl of soup. It was really good. Our reservation was for 7:15 PM on Valentine’s Day and we were seated immediately. We did not have to wait a long time for our food. I have heard it said that you can judge a steakhouse by their creamed corn. I, personally hate creamed corn, and I was literally scraping Every last bite of it out of the dish came in. Hands-down, I recommend it and we will definitely go back.
