Its a cute restaurant, the name suits it. Chairs are simple wood and rather uncomfortable. Ambiance is nice but wouldn't see this as an upscale dining experience. Its rustic, hence the name. The menu is small and interesting, portions pretty small and not a spectacular presentation. As mentioned, i thought the food was good but not spectacular and not sure the price is justified but i guess it's westport. Wine is definitely overpriced. It was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was very well attended with a price fix menu. The selections were varied to satisfy any preference. It was crowded but the wait staff handled it without a hitch. They were amazing and actually made our evening pleasurable to the point of wanting to return.
