- AantonioCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoIt was great! I had the bouillabaisse and my wife had the lasagna. Both were great. My only minor gripe was the men’s restroom in the bottom floor. It was…interesting walking in and someone had the door open to the employee area with people working. Not bad. Just odd.More infosarita a restaurantPrice: Moderate• American• Lakewood•4.8
- TTomCleveland / Akron / Canton •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoMy wife and I had a 49th anniversary dinner before seeing a play and had a lovely meal. I had requested a quiet booth and we were to one that was basically cut off from the main dining area. Our server was prompt and appropriately friendly. Drinks, warm sourdough bread and appetizers arrived in a timely manner. I had a simply salad with a light lemon Chardonnay dressing that didn’t overwhelm the greens. My wife had the lobster bisque and while the stock was tasty there wasn’t much lobster. For our entrees I had a shrimp and scallop sauté. The shrimp was very delicious ; fresh with a nice amount of firmness. The scallops had a good flavor but were just slightly stringy. It was accompanied by mushroom risotto and French green beans. The dinner was simply prepared and the flavor of the seafood stood out. My wife ordered the special which included soup or salad and a Maine lobster tail and 4 oz filet served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Aside from the potatoes being somewhat bland the lobster was very fresh and the steak cooked to order. The special was priced at $49, but as we were there during Happy Hour it was reduced to $39. A great price for surf and turf. They were kind enough to comp us two desserts for our occasion. I had a lemon custard on a ritz cracker crust with fresh whipped cream on the side. It had just the right amount of lemon to make it a light and refreshing dessert. My wife had the creame bouley. It looked lovely with a generous amount of fresh berries. It was a bit of a disappointment. The top was overcooked and was very thick with a slightly burnt taste. My only complaint with the meal is that our entrees came while we were still finishing our appetizers. This was our first trip to Salmon Dave’s. For seafood we normally go to the Blue Pointe Grill which has a slightly more elegant atmosphere. But for good service, food and overall experience we will definitely returnMore infoSalmon Dave'sPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Cleveland West•4.7
