The Windham Restaurant is proud to occupy one of Windham’s most significant historical sites. First operated as a farm in 1729, the present Colonial style house was built in 1812 and was extensively restored at the turn of this century. The Windham Restaurant features elements that are rustic, romantic and relaxed, including working fireplaces in our bar and first floor dining area. The decor complements the historic character of the building with a few carefully selected modern elements to create a distinctive dining experience.     Went to Tuscan Kitchen for anniversary. There was a card at our table signed by all the staff and my wife and I were given complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate. We had an appetizer platter with wine infused cheese, roasted peppers and onions that also included figs, pears and honey which was delicious. Would have liked more crustini to put ingredients on. My wife had the Mista salad which she enjoyed. I had the Osso Bucco which was tender and filling with tasty saffron risotto. Our server, Alex, was attentive and friendly. All around, an excellent experience!

    We had a wonderful experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. The waitress was honest and knowledgeable when we asked for his input while ordering steaks. I ordered the Kobe cap medium rare and it came out rare, but it was still delicious. Everything was amazing. We will Definitely be back.

    This was our first visit to the restaurant. We were very happy with our experience. We had an appetizer, salads, and entrees. Everything was very good and exceeded our expectations. Our server Melissa was excellent.
