- EElizabethLos Angeles •16 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoI just got home and noticed that we were charged an extra $3.85 for Milk that I never ordered and our server got our order wrong , I do not think he was paying attention, he then fixed the bill but still charged us for something we did not order. I should have paid closer attention but he took forever and we needed to go.More infoEl Torito - PasadenaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Pasadena•4.1
- CChristinaLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoAlways a favorite to come to Bestia, their food is stellar and they just do it right! Arriving right before restaurant opens is always a fave of mine, caught the tail end of their service staff pre shift and it totally warmed my heart. It really does make a difference when employees seem like they like where they work. I heard and felt energy, excitement and fun from each person I encountered.More infoBestiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7
- AAnitaGreater Boston •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe visited to celebrate a birthday with a group of three, and since one of us is vegetarian, we made sure to choose dishes that everyone could enjoy, plus one dish with fish. We started with three dips—masabacha, baba ghanoush, and farm cheese—and four appetizers: Moroccan carrots, roasted cauliflower, grilled mushrooms, and prawns. For dessert, we had the kirsch custard. The dips were exceptional, each offering a delightful mix of textures and flavors; each was served with a different type of bread that perfectly complemented each dip. The appetizers were equally impressive. The grilled mushrooms had a lovely char, and the prawns, which were slightly spicy, were paired with a refreshing cucumber salad that balanced the heat beautifully. The kirsch custard was smooth and creamy, served with a cinnamon tuile and fruit compote, making it the perfect way to end the meal. We also enjoyed drinks from the bar, along with a bottle of wine. The food and service were both top-notch. One thing to note, though, is that the noise level in the restaurant is quite high, so if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate setting, this may not be the best option. However, it's a fantastic spot for enjoying a great meal with friends or if you don’t mind a livelier atmosphere.More infoBavelPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• Downtown•4.8
- SStephanieIdaho •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoGood was good, they had great gluten free options, the piano music was nice but was rather loud. I would’ve liked to sit by the windows but it appeared there was no ramp for wheelchairs for a member of our party so we were sat by the piano which was a bit dark. The service was good however I think there should be more food for the price of each plate. Regardless, we have made it here for the past two years for Christmas and plan to continue every year.More infoThe Lobby Lounge @ The Langham Hotel PasadenaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Pasadena•4.3
- AAnnLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMy husband and I had Christmas Day breakfast there as it was included as a special for staying the night at the Langham. Customer service was outstanding as everyone was attentive and courteous. The food was good and hit the spot for breakfast. I did wish there was more combination plates so that the items I wanted didn't need to be added. There was an all you can eat brunch option but I was afraid I couldn't eat that much and it wasn't worth the $59 for me. Very much a family atmosphere in the restaurant which was fine. The view of the hotel and pool was nice and the restaurant was beautiful as everything at the Langham was just amazing. We would definitely come back to have a nice meal.More infoThe Terrace at The Langham, PasadenaPrice: Expensive• Californian• Pasadena•4.6
