- AAshleySan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todayLast night, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining here, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. As part of a 12-day culinary tour of St. Louis's finest upscale restaurants, we have been impressed by this establishment's exceptional offerings. It has undoubtedly become our favorite destination among those we have visited so far. The outstanding cuisine and service are a testament to the restaurant's excellence. - RRobertVIPDenver / Colorado •66 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOnce again, we had a great time and great meal at Charlie Gitto’s “On the Hill.” Our server, Scott, did a great job (as well as all of the other helpers of the wait staff). Our food was delicious as always and my Valentine’s Day Special - “Land and Sea” was good to the last bite. Our visits to Charlie Gitto’s is never complete without the Cannoli. We look forward to coming back again soon!More infoCharlie Gitto's 'On the Hill'Price: Expensive• Italian• The Hill•4.8
- JJeffLos Angeles •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is the second time I have been to Lorenzo’s. It did not disappoint. I brought my partner and a friend. My partner has never been to St Louis before and I wanted her to experience the food in The Hlll. She loved it. The waiter was courteous and attentive, the restaurant I would t say is loud but there definitely is a good buzz of people talking and enjoying each other’s company. I will definitely recommend and hopefully come back in the future on trips to St Louis.More infoLorenzo's TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• The Hill•4.7
- MMcKennaSouth Carolina •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWow, I wish I could give this place 10 stars. My boyfriend and I were visiting St. Louis for the weekend and we were recommended to come here. To say we loved it feels like an understatement. I had asked to be seated in a quieter section and they happily accommodated. The ambience was perfection: jazz and dim lighting…music wasn’t too loud. Our server Zach, gave us great menu recommendations. We ordered the French onion soup to share as our appetizer and it was incredible. We got the chicken dish and braised beef…absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, we had a hard time deciding between the chocolate mousse and the cream puffs. The kitchen gifted us the cream puffs (absolute angels). Also, the espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had. Overall, 11/10 experience. I’ll be dreaming of the desert for a while. Thank you to the kind hostess and server and staff who all made us feel so special and taken care of!More infoBrasserie by NichePrice: Moderate• French• St. Louis•4.8
- RRonaldSt. Louis •29 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was Valetine's Day and they were well prepped to service a largenumber of people. We made a reservation well in advance and asked to be seated in the "rear area" separated from the bar area -- which is usually quieter. We eat there about 2-3 times each year, for apecial occasions like a birthday, anniversary, etc. The food is always excellent They had their full menu available on Valentines Day, with a couple of special items added. Our waiter was very attentive without hovering -and was very friendly. We went with the 4-course tasting menu. We highly recommend the beet salad and the egg raviolo for the first two courses. The homemade pastas are also great. With one quartino of white wine and iced tea, our total for the evening was about $215 a couple of "upgrades" in the tasting menu and including tip. It's a bit of a pricy place, but well worth it for a treat!More infoAceroPrice: Expensive• Italian• Maplewood•4.9
