Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Trumbull

This is the second year I’ve came to Prime to celebrate Thanksgiving (with standard menu) . Outstanding food + service , ambience is always so warm and welcoming love the decor and vibe of the restaurant . Professional staff and the food is worth making the 45 minute drive from south shore to dine ! Will be coming back next year ! Went for Fairfield Restaurant Week. Been here once before but sat outside on patio. A much better experience. The food was very, very good, The Chicken Scarpariello was delicious, great portion, spicy, but not overly hot. My wife had Sesame Teriyaki Salmon Bowl which she raved about. Serve was sketchy . It was not very attentive. Started OK but faded toward the end. We never got the coffee we ordered with our dessert. The real problem was the noise. The dining room was never more than one quarter full but the noise from the adjacent crowded bar filled the entire space. Very high ceilings which made it worse. Would definitely return for the food, but will wait for spring/summer and sit outside.
