- CCarlNew Orleans / Louisiana •298 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoReally enjoyed our dinner at Atchafalaya Restaurant (as usual). Loved the decorated building itself, which is a renovated house. Inside is nicely decorated with murals and New Orleans photos. Bar area is very comfy and well stocked. We loved our appetizer of Blue Crab Raviolo which comes with Shiitake mushrooms. We also enjoyed our gumbo that featured a very dark and tasty roux, and very tender oysters. The Gulf Fish of the day was Redfish, which came with butternut squash, shrimp sauce and crawfish tails. Absolutely delicious. The Scallops were perfectly cooked, tender and delectable. The Shrimp and Grits were served with heads on as is the New Orleans tradition to keep in the flavor, and topped with andouille sausage in an appetizing creole shrimp broth. Service by Corey was outstanding, and she really made us feel like she was glad we were there.More infoAtchafalaya RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Garden District•4.9

- RRyanNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWonderful experience. Staff was awesome, including the secondary waitstaff who assisted with drink refills/other items. Upside down cornbread wasn’t awesome, BBQ shrimp sauce was a little overpowering, but flatbread, fries, and dumplings were fantastic. Cotton candy was a cute and fun addition - made the kids feel special. Will absolutely return to try different items - about to choose from.More infoMerilPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Warehouse District•4.5
- DDuckyNew York City •1 review4.0Dined on Feb 7, 2025I have eaten here before and loved it but was disappointed this time. The oysters were gritty. I was anxious to have the buttersquash salad but it was a different preparation than listed on on line dinner menu and was a heavier salad with spinach. I didn’t catch the difference before ordering. The crab eggrolls were very good. Not terrible but just not what I have learned to expect from past visitsMore infoApollinePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Uptown•4.5
