Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. We have been here several times before and have never been disappointed. We cannot resist the fried tofu. We also love the shrimp tempura but we skipped it this time as we wanted to also get a “large plate” entree. My wife enjoyed her teriyaki salmon. My tuna was great. We shared the salad and the pretzel dessert. I am disappointed that the miso Halibut is no longer on the menu…. We will be back though! Thank you Alec - our server.

I got to sit in the back room with the fireplace. I got to see first hand how hard the waitresses and table runners work. No matter what I have ordered I have always been satisfied with my meal. I would always recommend their famous meatballs (which are huge) and their fried zucchini. I also tried there crème brulee cheesecake for the first time and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back there again!
