- LLizVIPPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat an unexpected and pleasant surprise this restaurant was, nestled within the old Eagle Tavern. The ambience and decor really aligned with the broader theme of a southern farm to table kitchen. The cocktails were spectacular, especially if you like whiskey, because they have an incredible selection. The sweet potato hush puppies were perfectly fried, and the honey and sauce were delicious. We ordered the short rib and salmon, and the chef was able to make adjustments to the vegetables to address an allergy issue. Both plates were licked completely clean because everything was absolutely delicious. We also got the skillet cornbread and while it was two cut slices on a skillet and not an actual skillet, the flavor was delicious. The only adjustment I would suggest there is the butter was chilled, which made it hard to spread. I wasn’t as excited about the dessert selection but honestly, I didn’t need dessert because the meal was just spectacular. Special shout out to our server, Maddie, who was perfectly attentive without being ever present.More infoBloom Southern KitchenPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Southern)• Chester Springs•4.6

- JJasonNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoWe were a party of 6 (made the reservation the same day and had 2 openings - thank goodness) and each person got something different so we got a bunch of items. All of our drinks were mixed well and the holiday coquito was a surprise as it was a house special. -Nachos came loaded & the street corn was amazing! - House guac and churros were pretty basic but overall good. Churros were dry and needed that "sugar seasoning" - Compared to all the apps, the Quesadilla was on the smaller size; think 4-5 pieces tiny pieces (looked like some kid's meal). - Entrees (Salmon, Steak, Chicken, tacos) serving sizes were up to par and cooked to perfection. Our server (Lenny) was ON POINT with everything; he remembered all the orders w/o writing them down and kept the refills on rotation. He kept circling making sure we were doing okay and never had to ask for anything twice. The customer service and attention to detail along with the the other waitstaff (servers, food runners, host) were also on point; no one had to wait on food and their turnover from apps/entree/dessert was top. It made the overall experience a delight.More infoTorre RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Center Valley•4.6
