- CCarolynWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoDining at Salamander’s bar or restaurant is always a special experience. The friendly staff throughout the property to our waiter Terry and his team provided superb service that I know is the brand of Salamander every time I visit. Thank you and Happy Holidays!More infoHarrimans GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Middleburg•4.6
- BbryanVIPWashington, D.C. Area •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoIn speaking with our waiter I realized I’ve been delighted by dining at Ches Francois for 40 years. We arrived at 6:00 pm and shortly after being seated my wife and I were greeted by the owner, Chez Jacque. I congratulated Jacque in celebrating the Haeringer family’s 70th year owning and operating Chez Francois. (there was a large stand alone plaque at the entrance announcing the 70 years) Jacque’s comment when I congratulated him was, “yes two generations of crazy restaurateurs”. I could not argue with him. Only absolute dedication, commitment and tireless energy produces the wonderfully amazing results this family has delivered decade after decade. Every bite of food I’ve ever eaten at Chez Francois has been a culinary delight. Every meal I’ve had (I estimate in the neighborhood of 150 meals) have been absolutely enjoyable. Thank you for making my life’s journey a bit more special and Merry Christmas Chez Jacques to you, your family and your entire staff. - JJohnWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was probably my fourth time at the restaurant. Love the ambience today and the service was about as good as it gets today. The food is slightly high in pricing but the rustic theme and energy tied with reliably good food makes it a place your can repeatedly enjoy and rely on. I just had a burger and ceasar salad but that along with a great double IPA from a large on tap selection made it just right for lunch with a very good friend. I was seated immediately and the staff led my later arriving to me without a fuss. Parking was ample and access from the beltway was a breeze. Will be coming back.More infoTower Oaks LodgePrice: Moderate• American• Rockville•4.7
- EEdwardWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 8, 2024My partner and I each selected a five-course dinner option from a wide-ranging menu of about 20 options. Each course was exquisitely prepared and we had a personal visit from the chef to answer any questions we had about food preparation or special needs. This ranked with one of the top meals I have ever had, both nationally and internationally. The price, with wine, for two was in the $500 range with tip, but the service, ambiance, and food made this special birthday occasion well worth it. I have no regrets. This is a place where one gets what one pays for. Simply superb!!More infoConservatory at GoodstonePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Middleburg•4.3
