This was the first day of the new semester. Restaurant was not crowded and assuming that the front of the house staff were getting their feet wet. Food was excellent although both main courses came out room temperature. my wife sent hers back and it came back not that much warmer. the wait staff was almost too attentive. multiple wait staff came by to ask was all ok multiple times during the meal. A little annoying !! Although as I found out the restaurant is a course that students sign up for and do get graded. They work 7 weeks in the front of the house and 7 weeks in the kitchen The waiter for our table was fair. We had questions about the limited menu that he could not answer. Seemed very timid, never introduced himself and kept asking if there was anything else he could do. knowing that this was a school and learning experience we gave him alot of slack. We will definitely go back and try some of the other restaurants and walk the beautiful grounds

The Best restaurant of it's type anywhere in NY or CT. A really special place and a wonderful old fashioned atmosphere. It's as good as it was many years ago. You feel like you are in Europe. Great food and beautifully prepared and served. Worth the one hour drive we made to eat there. We splurged on the Chef's tasting menu with Wine pairings and it was spectacular.

Absolutely loved Farmhouse. It was out of our way but sooooo worth it!!!! Literally everything we ate was delicious. And their singer, Andrew, was fantastic. At first his amp was too loud but we asked him to turn down slightly and then it was not only the perfect volume but great to sing along to!!!
