Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in West Oaks

Our server, Maurice, was excellent. I appreciated the cadence with which he checked in on our table but, more importantly, his recommendations were outstanding. I do not think we would have ever considered the octopus but he was right by describing it as the best in the city. Otherwise, our table had a steak special, two different pizzas and the Vingole pasta. Besides the four cheese pizza not listing the hot honey on the menu, we all loved our meals, including the sweet panna cotta for my birthday.

Service was wonderful from the hostesses to the wait staff to the gentleman filling waters. Food was delicious! Full of flavor.

Nice neighborhood, family-owned Italian restaurant, not fancy but very comfortable. Service was outstanding by a very knowledgeable young lady acting with extreme professionalism. We started with the Crispy Polenta Chips for an appetizer; they were cooked perfectly light crispy exterior with a smooth cream inside. Our table had four entrees: 1) Eggplant al Forno - 4 breaded slices of eggplant with a side of Capellini with a light tomato sauce. Rate 4/5. 2) Spaghetti Carbonara - Appeared to be Pancetta rather than Guanciale, but still very good. Sauce could use some work. Rate 3.5/5. 3) Crab Cake (special off menu) - Two crab cakes served with Risotto and veggies. Rate 5/5. 4) Pappardelle Bolognese - Typical Bolognese, the other guest thought it was one of the best he'd had. Rate 5/5. Portions were large, leaving plenty for lunch the next day. The bread was excellent!!

Food is very good and the service is also good. Friendly staff . We will be back.

Good reliable restaurant for classic Indian food. Thought the saffron rice was a little dry and flavorless, the lobster bisque was somewhat fishy but overall good food. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere.
