Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Clinton

Great time for afternoon tea. Food and service were both very good. If it is cold out, recommend getting a spot away from the door, it can be drafty. Looking forward to coming back for drinks and dinner.

Food: gorgeous desserts; tasty scones (wish were warmer); sandwiches tasted good, but were not anything special in appearance. Ambiance: crowded and small, but they kindly set up a little extra table for us; typical in this area for restaurants to be small and crowded. Awesome decor and Christmas decorations. Very very lit with natural light. Service: Wonderful! Kind, thoughtful, patient servers. We did not feel rushed; tea time is about taking time for leisurely conversation and savoring of the fare. That was accomplished. We felt relaxed.

Server was spot on with his recommendations, asked us if we were going to the show and made sure we left on time! Food was delicious! Noise level perfect, we could easily talk to our friends without raising our voice!

What a wonderful afternoon tea service! We had an absolutely lovely afternoon. The food was traditional with a modern twist, the teas were delicious, and the holiday decorations were spectacular. Adding to all of this was the harpist who really set the mood.

The Willard tea was amazing!!! So gorgeous and delicious!!!
