Best Restaurants with Dancing in High Park

We are so glad we chose The Sultan's Tent to celebrate our 40th Anniversary celebration with the family. From the moment we entered......everything was so good. The decor made you feel like you were in Morocco. Our server ABIGAIL went out of her to make our evening a night to remember. The food was delicious with good portion sizes.......recommend Braised Lamb Shank, Seafood Tagine and Braised Ribs. Of course the highlight of the evening was the Belly Dancers. Make The Sultan's Tent your go to restaurant for your next celebration or even a fun evening.

I celebrated my birthday at the Old Mill on December 28th. Their new winter menu is delicious! My husband and I shared the Charcuterie board first, followed my Prime Rib for myself and Dennis had the salmon. Both entrees were cooked perfectly. We were lucky enough to have Karen again as our server who is so lovely, friendly and what a great sense of humour! Thank you Karen for making my birthday so special- I was so surprised with the lovely birthday dessert-that made the evening! It was Disco Night with Jay Vasquez and Groove Marmalade-our favourite band at the Old Mill. Danced the night away! So thank you to Karen and all of the wonderful restaurant staff who work so hard. It was nice to see Irene the CFO when we checked in. I love the Old Mill -we were there just 4 days ago for the Christmas Eve Buffet which is outstanding and we try to come for as many Dining and Dancing Nights as possible. Food and service was amazing, staff were amazing and so friendly but music wasn’t great that night specially because generally is so good. Also, sound level was too high, so hard to socialize!

The restaurant was great, but when we showed up we were informed that the restaurant no longer uses OpenTable and we actually have no reservation.

I love Burdock, the beers are so great and the space itself wonderful. The service was really lackluster, a trend I'm seeing throughout the city these days unfortunately (but maybe understandably) - no enthusiasm, not consistent, not checking in if the food is good or if we have everything, a general "oh yeah you're still here" vibe. Not something I've experienced at Burdock before and was really excited to show my friend from out of town. Overall a fine, just fine, experience.
