Best Restaurants with Dancing in Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor

Great service and delicious food! Drinks were amazing, but due to the Valentine’s Day crowd, it took a while to get drinks. Overall an awesome experience and ambient.

It was a great experience. My wife and I came in to celebrate valentines day. We tried the “yala yala” service and it was amazing. What great way to try something new.

We had a large table and they were most accommodating. Fun atmosphere and good food.

Guard and Grace is a beautiful place to spend on any special occasion. My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Trey, had excellent table side manner and was very knowledgeable of the menu. We really appreciated him as our server and will request him again when we come back with friends and family. The only negative thing I have to say is we don’t feel that the steaks were worth the value for the price. I got the NY strip and it was very tough. Which, strip usually is always tough but I was expecting a more tender piece of meat with a little more flavor. My husband got the Ribeye and he also felt like the steak could have been prepared better. He asked for rare and it was a cool red center like Trey told us it would be, but he felt like it was a bit over cooked. He liked the flavor though. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. I think it’s worth a try.

We had four different dishes (two steaks and two types of fish. ALL were delicious. I really don’t think you could find anything that wasn’t outstanding. The one thing I would change is the noise level. They might refer to it as energetic, I thought it was a little too loud. Made it necessary to speak louder and it seemed like a competition. No a huge problem but not a quiet romantic dinner. A matter of taste. Great experience.
