Best Restaurants with Great Beer in West Haven

Lovely lunch here with 2 friends . I have Coeliac Disease . Menu items were well marked and our server Ricky , very kindly offered and double checked my options with the chef so as to confirm there would be no cross contamination. I ordered the fries to start as I cannot have the flower pot bread they serve . I had the gf mushroom soup and the quinoa fritters. All delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant for the service , the food and warmth of everyone who works there ! A very safe place to eat for people with a gluten allergy !

About 5 years ago, we first visited Cottage. We hadn’t been back simply because it was so noisy you couldn’t have a conversation. We don’t tecall what day of the eeek we were there. We were delighted in our visit today,Sunday, as the music was not too loud and diners did not have to shout to be heard across the table. The soft lighting was perfect and the service was terrific. The food was so good, we’ve decided to return sometime soon!

We had an amazing time at Dockside! We reserved the Candy Cane Lane igloo for our annual pre-Christmas outing. The igloo was so fun, themed so well, supplied with heaters and even a speaker so we could play our own music. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. She was kind, fun and made sure we were all having a great time. The food and drinks were amazing. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

The greeting, service and food was exceptional. The actual tables could be updated; they were chipped and picnic-style. The music was nice but a little loud. It was difficult hearing my daughter. The portions were beautifully displayed but a little small. They were fine for the 3 woman. If my husband was there...he could have eaten both our dishes.. Overall, in my opinion....the food was wonderful but just a few little things would have made it an A+.
