I usually dine here for dinner so the lunch menu was new to me although we did start with the Greek salad and saganaki, which are staple go to apps. Both were prepared very well and consistent with past visits. I tried the fish and chips for the first time and while it was good, I thought the price was a bit steep for just one moderate size piece of fried sea bass. The platter was filled mostly with a basket of fries and accompaniments like shredded lettuce, a sliced tomato and asparagus. For the price I would stick with their simply grilled fish options, which is what I usually order for dinner. We tried the almond cake for dessert which was tasty and a nice finish to our meal.More infoVarka FishhousePrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Ramsey•4.8

The food is very well-prepared and delicious! The service was outstanding, being very attentive but not at all intrusive. The ambiance is elegant and quiet, so that we had no problem talking in a normal speaking volume. If I were to make any negative comment at all, it would be that one of our diners, who has an allergy to onions and peppers, had a very difficult time finding something to eat, since there were no accommodations for that issue, and almost all of their side dishes had onions in them. They could not make any side dish from scratch, so she only was able to have vegetables. They could not make the risotto, rice, potatoes - nothing without onions, which I found rather strange. Most restaurants are more than willing to accommodate changes for allergy issues. Also, no one liked the Ekmek dessert, but the Vesuvius was delicious! Otherwise, it was fantastic! Bear in mind that it is pricey, but worth it. It was over $100 per person with no alcohol.More infoOceanos RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Fairlawn•4.8

- TThomasVIPNew York City •17 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 13, 2025This was the first time having pistachio flavored pasta (rigatoni in my case) and I was awesome. It was cooked with fennel and was absolutely delicious. My wife had the duck liver cannolli and she loved it as well. The service was excellent and attentive. Could not have had a better dining experience close to home!More infoThe CookeryPrice: Moderate• Italian• Dobbs Ferry•4.7
