Best Live Music Restaurants in Desert Ridge

My partner and I ordered the Fennel salad special was amazing hope they include for a regular. We both ordered the Carbonara and it was the best I’ve ever had before!! Would definitely order again. Being an interior designer just wish they would do more in the dining area on the walls. Just seems so bland and unexciting. I could definitely see some black and white large photos of Italy and perhaps the family. Some free advice lol!

We were seated for our Valentine’s Day dinner five minutes early even though this was probably the restaurant’s busiest date of the year. Our waiter, Mike, is a veteran and a pro. He was very helpful, wasn’t full of himself and his knowledge and understanding of the menu as well as the type of dining experience most of his customers expect from such a we’ll know establishment, was impressive. There was nothing we asked him for which he wouldn’t have moved heaven and earth, to get for us. We had the sea bass and 8 oz. Filet as our main courses. The cut of the filet was prime and it tasted like it. It was a perfect medium rare. The sea bass was also moist and wonderful. What a great surprise this dining experience turned out to be. This was the best meal we had over our three previous nights in the Phoenix valley. Thanks Mastro’s.

Overall it was a good experience. Great decor and setting. Feels unique for Scottsdale. Felt like a big city speakeasy. Cocktails were made very well. Only negative for me was the specialty cocktail menu was trying just a little too hard. Every drink had to have something totally unique as opposed to just having some classics with a little twist. Also disappointed that they didn't know how to or have the ingredients to make a Kir Royale. It's not an obscure drink.

We have been to all Mastros across the US (from Chicago to LA) But have found nobody treats us better with consistent VIP service and quality than this Scottsdale location. Mike Skubisz is the Manager we count on to deliver professional, consistent service, Top Grade AAA Wagyu style! We are treated like VIPs every time. Service , food quality and staff consistently deliver perfection every visit. All his staff have remained consistent since we've been going (for decades) because of their respect for his professional management style.
