Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining. Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed.     Overall, very nice. Some "teething" issues. If no coat room should have a coat rack. Parking close but difficulty in backing up to leave. Given prices and food quality, suggest a "mild" dress code i. e. collared shirts, no denims. The group we were with was a bit on the tawdry side. Menu one of the best for variety and quality of food is excellent.

    Our server Amanda was very friendly and accommodating. Our dinner on Christmas Eve was slow arriving from the kitchen, but fortunately there was a beautiful ambience to enjoy the evening with my man.

    My partner and I stayed at the Newport Harbor Island Resort for a weekend and went to the Torpedo Lounge for dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic. Soft, live music during dinner with “loungey” comfortable sitting available to enjoy some after dinner drinks. The food was delicious, especially the short ribs with mashed potatoes. Our waitress, Natasha, was excellent with amazing customer service and communication skills. She made our experience especially great. We will definitely be back!
