- MMichaelPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoA group of friends and I dined last night at the Magic Lamp Inn and I must say it lives up to its name because it was truly magical. The ambiance was so wonderful with the beautiful Christmas decorations, the gorgeous tiffany and stained-glass lamps, the fireplaces, the wonderful music and everything. It was like stepping back in time to the days of leather booths, nostalgic decor and wonderful food. The Filet Mignon melted in my mouth and the Chilean Sea Bass was out of this world! Further to the gorgeous restaurant there is a large garden area with Roman statues and lovely trees and sculptures...I felt transported across the ocean to Europe. Believe me it is worth making the trek to Rancho Cucamonga for a superb dining experience. It was so magical we did not want to leave! Thank you to the wonderful staff as well for taking such good care of us and to the entertaining magician who entertained us during the evening. We will be returning soon!More infoMagic Lamp InnPrice: Expensive• American• Rancho Cucamonga•4.1
- SSteveOrange County •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoHad a great time here. We never felt rushed or under pressure to order something. Chips and salsa came right away and were delicious. We ordered the "grande" margaritas and were disappointed when they came, they seemed like regular size to me. Then our server, Stephen, came and told us that he messed up and would be giving us a free refill. Problem solved. We had the guacamole appetizer and honestly it was probably the best guac we've ever had (and we have it a lot). Our entrees were equally delicious. I had a basic taco salad and my wife had the fish of the day, salmon, and both were fantastic. Not sure what it is they put on their food but there's something that kicks it up a notch from other Mexican restaurants. We were there during the "Festival of Lights at the mission and everything lit up as we were eating making it even more festive. Prices are a little steep for me but were expected.More infoLas CampanasPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Riverside•3.9
- EEliseNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 11, 2024Every bit of the experience was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and personable. Fully bilingual, which was great because our table was so mixed. I have never liked guacamole and the way it was made fresh right in front of us and seasoned perfectly, it’s the first time I actually ate it. It was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to visiting again!More infoEl Torito - OntarioPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Ontario•4.2
