I reminded the staff several times, thru messages, a voicemail, and a reminder from one of our guests upon arrival that it was a surprise. When I arrived with the guest of honor, the hostess totally blew the surprise. HOWEVER, the rest of the night was very enjoyable. We were not sat around the fire as was booked, but they gave us a large inside table which actually ended up being a nice alternative. The food was very good! Lots of great options for small plates to share. As a celiac person, they have lots of clearly marked options for gluten free food. Staff came to table to clearly communicate what was gluten free and what was not, and they have a dedicated gluten free frier. Overall experience was quite enjoyable and I would come here again.More infoRooftop at Providence GPrice: Moderate• American• Providence•4.3

The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which was nice for an early evening out. We decided to take advantage of their "Appy Hour" menu (weekdays 5-7 pm), offering half-priced appetizers. We ordered oysters, the flatbread with prosciutto, and four drinks. The food and drinks were excellent, especially the oysters and flatbread. However, we were charged full price for the appetizers, and unfortunately, we didn’t realize it until after we left. A small oversight on our part, but it’s worth mentioning—be sure to double-check your bill. The only other hiccup was the temperature; it was a bit chilly inside until about 7 pm. That said, it’s a cool spot with a nice vibe, and the quality of the food and drinks made up for the small inconveniences.More infoNeedle & ThreadPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Providence•4.7
