- TTyrivipHouston •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had the beautiful corner banquet last night for my husband's birthday, it is truly the best seat in the house. The jazz band above on the balcony was fabulous. There were four of us and I was excited to introduce them to this lovely spot. The service is perfect and so welcoming. The steaks are delicious and the little potato crispy "balls" are yummy. Extensive wine list-note that the first part of the wine book has the "Collection", the last two pages have wines by the glass, and just before the last two pages are the "normal" bottles of wine! The sommelier was happy to explain this to me as I searched for a favorite Rhone wine. This is a "special occasion" spot, but you could visit and experience the fun just by being in the lively bar and lounge area.More infoTurner's CutPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Montrose•4.7

The minute we walked in the door, the atmosphere felt warm & inviting— beautifully decorated. To start, we all ordered some mango cocktails, as recommended by our friendly & courteous waitress (Nan), which was very delicious. We then ordered 3 appetizers (papaya salad, fried dumplings & some other fried flat bread (?), 3 main dishes (shrimp drunken noodles, pumpkin & chicken curry, and mussels) to share, along with a sweet rice & mango dessert. The pumpkin & chicken curry and shrimp drunken noodles were the 2 star dishes for us. We plan to return.More infoMaKiinPrice: Very Expensive• Thai• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.4

This location was everything we expected and more! Our waiter, Torron, was very helpful and friendly. The manager made us feel important by coming to our table to visit and make sure we were taken care of.More infoEddie V's - West AvePrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River Oaks•4.9
- SSeanvipCleveland / Akron / Canton •34 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis is one of Houston’s best restaurants. Very good steak and arguably even better pastas. The Rigatoni in Vodka sauce is better than Carbone’s and their Lobster fra diavolo is stunningly good. Their Italian favorites like Veal Parm and Veal Milanese are also remarkable. The atmosphere and live piano music is the frosting on the cake. It’s a updated version Gene and Georgetti (Chicago).More infoMarmoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Montrose•4.5
