Johnny’s Downtown, opened in 1993, is similar to the original Johnny’s Bar on Fulton Road, featuring pasta, veal and fish. The setting, a refurbished 1860’s Warehouse District building, formerly a general store, is the drinking and dining spot of locals and business people alike. Joseph Fall, the executive chef, oversees the food operations and is responsible for our crafting our signature dishes and creating daily specials. Great vibe and menu. Our waiter William was knowledgeable- funny and attentive. Eating out on thanksgiving can be tricky - but this was awesome and the place was lively! Recommend the fried Burrata, short ribs and salmon.

The restaurant atmosphere is wonderful. It’s beautiful inside old rustic look of old Italian restaurant. Terry, the host was absolutely gracious brought over some fresh made pasta for sampling to our table. Great waiter great service highly recommended.

Once again our experience was outstanding. The food was fantastic. The band was amazing and the staff, including our server Monique were awesome. It's truly the best place to hang out with friends on a Saturday night in Cleveland.
