Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in W. University / Med Center

This was our first chance to eat here, and we decided on it because of the reviews. Needless to say they were correct, the atmosphere was great, the food was incredible and our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The chef also came out and chatted with us along with the manager/owner stopping by to check on us which was very pleasant. We will definitely be going back and would recommend this experience to all our friends.

We discovered this gem through Instagram. The menu didn’t disappoint us- We had the best roasted beet salad ever!!! We shared but honestly I wish we hadn’t!! I wanted more- Then we split lamb chops with a delicious cream sauce and roasted potatoes and the lobster mac n cheese- so very delicious- I just wish they served Meiomi- then my night would’ve been perfect!

I was completely appalled by how good the burger at Main Kitchen was. Hands down, this is one of the best burgers in Houston. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor, it was almost too much for me to handle—so much so that I could only eat half of it while there. If you’re a burger enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to try this. Just be warned: it’s so packed with flavor, you might need to take a break mid-bite! Main Kitchen was. Hands down, this is one of the best burgers in Houston.
