Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Mount Pleasant

Food was tasty but very small. Service was excellent and coffees (americanos) were very good. Too expensive for the amount of food.

Went for the Valentine's Day menu. Had high expectations going in and the food and service exceeded our expectations. The food was sublime. My favourite dish was a Hokkaido scallop cooked perfectly with a beautiful sauce and sorbet and sweetness from julienned green apple with a dollop of caviar. Every bit was beautiful. Wanted to lick the plate it was so good. The next course was a soft egg with creamy polenta, black truffles, and a beautifully thin slide of crunchy sourdough that looked like a lace cover. Just beautiful and delicious. Then a steamed seabass which was cooked to perfection sitting in leche de tigre sauce with a salsa that gave it just the perfect amount of heat. The dish was served skin side up which made for a beautiful presentation. The last savoury course was an Australian wagyu zabuton cut. It was served with a beautifully roasted sunchoke and a wonderful bordelaise sauce. Great flavour with a little bit of chew if you like that. Then they served a sweet drink with a bit of a "spark" which was fun and then the dessert which was yummy but very rich and the only part of the meal which I felt could have been maybe lighter? The dessert was lovely but I could not finish it because it was so rich. Chocolate on chocolate on chocolate. Altogether an amazing meal. The service was excellent and everyone from entry to exit was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for making our Valentine's dinner such a memorable evening!

Great, welcoming staff that were very attentive and answered questions well. All dishes looked very presentable and with exciting flavours to match! It was also very clean and overall it was a wonderful experience—a must for date night.

Excellent from start to finish. Great food and service. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Excellent treatment by our server Riley. A great dessert and champagne too! Thanks everyone for making our day so special!

We were 15 minutes early to our reservation but the host greeted us and sat us right away without hesitation. Shonin was our server. He did a great job explaining the features and sold us on the burrata with hot honey and crackers. Must try! Did the La Familia tasting menu and the servings were very generous. We didn’t know which wine to select to have for dinner and the sommelier came by and gave us 3 recommendations - he was very knowledgeable about each wine he selected. Loved all the options the chef made for our dinner. Kudos to Shonin and the team!
