Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Garden District

Good place for a solid meal. Nothing fancy but food is good and waitstaff is great. Somewhat off the beaten path, so can get into the restaurant during times when New Orleans is overloaded with tourists.

We had a lovely evening. It was truly amazing. I will be back . Great food, great service and an amazing waitress by the name of Morhah whom made our experience well worth it . Thank you guys very much for a time well spent ❤️.

I’ve read a good bit of bad reviews, service wise, and I’ve come here to say both times I’ve dined here the service was great! Especially this past dinner experience with Ryan M. Sweet potato brioche bread with cane syrup butter is a must. My husband very much enjoyed his steak and the fried pork chop was very interesting flavor wise.

Great dinner At shaya the food was sensational. The fried chicken humas was sublime. My only nit is that they shut the pita oven off mid way through our dinner (we had an 8:30pm reservation), and all of the dishes require a lot of pita. The difference between the fresh cooked pita and the reheated we got at the end was noticeable. Would recommend and come back.

A great menu, lots of unique items that are sure to please any foodie. The service was perfect. If i lifted my eyes, my waiter appeared tableside immediately. We're celebrating our 20th anniversary and Domenica was a fantastic place to start!
