Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Old Irving Park

Always a great place! Even though I usually go on Wednesdays for half price bottles of wine, going on a Saturday was just as lovely!

Avec is the best of the best Chicago restaurants! We had an endive salad to start, the chicken shawarma with hummus, and champagne. It was a perfect meal for a very special celebration! The food, atmosphere and service were superlative, and the amazing team made our celebration such a memorable and wonderful experience! Thank you so much, avec!!!

This was our first time dining here and safe to say all of the food was incredible and service was relatively quick and effortless even on a busy Valentine’s Day/Friday night. Steak tartare was delicious and the lamb shoulder and Wood’s KFC dishes were to die for. We will absolutely be back.

Took my date for valentines day here easy place foods great and so is the whine, would recommend to eat here again.

Food was good overall! We enjoyed the our burrata appetizer and the pasta was FRESH! So tasty! My friend’s food was lukewarm though which is why I scored lower on food. The ambience was not as described, the music was very club vibes, no R&B or Italian vibes.
