Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Paradise Valley

Still one of our favorites. Food is excellent and service is always on point. Tried the lamb skewers this time and the black garlic tahini is delicious.

Five stars across the board from the food and service to the ambiance. What a wonderful evening from the moment we arrived until we left. We were there celebrating my wife’s birthday and had a wonderful family celebration. Everyone made it very special. There are very few restaurants I can rate this high. I’m glad this was one. Everything was delicious and we look to dining at Flint by Baltaire again.

My husband and I visited on a Friday night and had 5:30pm reservations, as we were going to a show afterwards. Check in was quick and we were shown to a table on the patio. About half the tables were already full. I'm glad we didn't just choose to go for happy hour, as there were no seats to be had at the bar. The waiter was quick and knowledgeable about the menu. We knew we wanted the grilled octopus, which we mentioned, but the waiter should have waited to put that in until after we had ordered drinks. So, we had no wine with the appetizer course. This was the only misstep of the evening. Bolognese and tagliatelle with shrimp were both very good. Plentiful portions; decent price for the area. Waiter instantly moved a heater to our area when I mentioned I was chilly. Patio was very lively by the time we left. We'll definitely be back.

Another excellent dinner at The Genuine! We enjoyed outstanding cocktails crafted by Andrew-a Martini for me and the Blood Orange Paper Plane for my wife. We split the calamari, a delicious cheeseburger and a pizza with a couple of slices to go. The servers were lovely and attentive and made us feel very welcome. Jessica, the GM, spent some time chatting with us and she is an absolute pleasure to engage with. Whether you sit at the bar, or at a table, you will have an outstanding time. We’re going back for brunch next weekend. Go!

Food was fantastic, I had the blistered shishito peppers and the grilled shrimp salad. It was all delicious and well composed as far as the ingredients and flavors. The patio is surrounded by large trees and is well sheltered from the traffic on 16th st, it made for a nice dining experience.
