Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Sloans Lake

We had the Lamb Ragú and a pepperoni pizza. Both were excellent. The NA cocktail I had - Tropicale was a bit sweet for me. We sat at the bar and got to watch the kitchen do their magic. A good evening out

Restaurant was nice and staff was very friendly. Food was delicious I had the bison short rib ravioli the only complaint was that one of the ravioli had no meat it was all fat. The crab cake appetizer was delicious as well.

Wonderful food and beautiful space. We had very good oysters, a 4 oz regular wagyu filet (cooked perfectly), carrots and au gratin potatoes, as well as a few wines. We also had 4 oz of the A5 wagyu, which is so decadent that I would recommend just adding 2 oz to a lighter meal, rather than loading up on it as an entree like we did. Sides are sharareable sizes, so the prices on those are very fair. Things were out fairly quickly as well. Staff were genuinely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, including wine; I love a restaurant where the core wine menu has been pared down enough that you can trust anything off it will be good, and that was the case here. If you're hard of hearing, you might struggle with conversation; not only is it a little noisy for a restaurant of that caliber, the 2-tops are oddly long, making it difficult to have a conversation at a normal volume. Otherwise, very good experience and will probably be back at some point during another visit to Denver.

This might just be my favorite restaurant in Denver. The basement is one of the coolest spots we have ever dined—such a cool vibe. The pasta is out of this world, the wine selection is fantastic, and the service is top notch. Can’t say enough good things!
