Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Founded in 2020 by siblings Jordan and Chyna, their idea was one that came purely from their desire to bring their grandparents authentic, traditional Caribbean recipes from their family home to the London food scene, with a fresh and modern take, inspired by their own upbringing in a vegan household. Fusing their love for plant-based food with their Caribbean roots, they identified a niche gap in the market for authentic, Modern Caribbean Vegan Cuisine. Llerena takes its name from a little village in Extremadura, southwest Spain, where four generations of our family has raised Iberian pigs since 1939, producing authentic "Bellota" jamón ibérico, chorizo and other pork delicacies. Our family created a business around the farm called Jamón y Salud to sell our gourmet products and has now brought this exquisite taste of Spain to Islington with the Llerena Ibérico Tapas Bar. Not only can you sample ibérico pork grilled meats and finest jamón, but also creamy Torta del Casar cheese and other traditional Extremadura's delights as well as the best wine from our region.
