   Valentine’s Day special menu/price was not advertised on Open Table - the only menu available. We have dined here before. Menu price was $130 pp for three courses. Soup was added and price was reduced to $120 pp. A glass of champagne was on in included in price. This price was quite a bit higher than most of the restaurants in the area. Restaurant is cold-every time the door opens a draft comes in. Soup was very good (pea with mushrooms/nuts) but not hot enough. Filet mignon entree was very good. NY steak had mushroom shaped potatoes which were not completely cooked. Two desserts were offered -wait staff brought us one of each without asking which we preferred. The regular menu is definitely preferable. Not advising that there is a special menu misleads the diners. One couple did leave - people only have a certain budget. May return for the regular menu, but never for a special menu.

   Normally we choose Firehouse Bistro because of the quiet ambiance, last nite they were full and it was difficult to hear our table of 4.

   Loved birthday dinner with my hubs! The food was delicious, especially the desserts! They even gave him a dessert with a candle for his birthday. It was a little on the pricier side, but I would definitely go back again.  it’s a super cute venue, not too big and cozy vibe.

   While the food was excellent, our overall experience was disappointing due to severe understaffing, with only one person managing the entire floor. I celebrated a birthday dinner with three friends in December, and the evening began with a wait for our table and less-than-ideal seating near the kitchen. Despite some discomfort, we made the best of it. Service was chaotic, with long delays. It took over 20 minutes to flag down the server to order wine, and another 20 to place our dinner orders. Questions about the menu were met with impatience, likely due to the server being overwhelmed. While the food arrived quickly and was delicious, the slow service meant we needed to flag down the server again for a second bottle of wine. Throughout the evening, we noticed other diners struggling with service, including one customer walking to the kitchen to settle their bill. The final issue came with the bill. My friend’s credit card went missing after being placed in the billfold, and the server reacted aggressively when questioned, escalating the situation by yelling at us and telling us to leave. I paid the full bill to resolve the situation, only to be called back and falsely accused of taking the signed receipt, which was found at the server's station. While I understand the challenges of being understaffed, the unprofessional behavior and lack of accountability were unacceptable. We left a phone number to be contacted if the missing credit card was found, but no one has reached out. Sadly, this experience ensures we won’t return.
