Récemment rénové, First & Oak est situé à l'intérieur du charmant Mirabelle Inn. Le Chef exécutif Steven Snook vous propose un éventail de tapas caractérisés par leur saveur et leur finesse. Le menu est de type californien, doté d'une touche éclectique, tout en étant inspiré par des techniques françaises. Il est également de saison et est conçu de sorte à ce que vous puissiez créer votre propre plat personnalisé. L'objectif est que vous soyez en mesure d'explorer le menu de notre chef sans être limités à un seul format d'entrée ou de plat.     Great food! Fine dining experience. However, price on website differs from menu at restaurant. Three course is now $75/pp not $65.

    Excellent Chef's menu. Delicious food expertly presented. Leann was a perfect food server. Not for the budget conscious.

    The 5 course wine pairing was very good. I wish I had taken a picture of the Wines offered as they were all excellent and full pours. The food offerings were all very good, with the exception of the oysters. The cauliflower was our favorite and the sea bass was perfect. We were a little worried that the oysters were not quite right as they tasted mostly of sea water. We have had lots of oysters over the years and these were honestly just not good. But we didn’t get sick! LOL. We will for sure recommend this place for the dining experience and will return the next time we are in Solvang.

    I was extremely impressed they were able to customize my menu to be vegan without sacrificing the flavor. Absolutely incredible experience and will be returning!

    Based on the reviews I thought this place was going to be great however, it was a major let down. An expensive let down at that. The Halibut and Tenderloin were both flavorless. The oysters were awful. The Ricatta, Tuna Crudo, Scallop and Passionfruit Tart were all really good so not all the food was bad but, I definitely expected more. Very disappointed for a $90 a plate meal and ultimately wish we would have went somewhere else. Service and staff were wonderful, it was just the food that was so hit or miss.

    The food was outstanding. Wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. The pacing of the courses was excellent. Would come again in a heartbeat.

    Wonderful three course meal. We went for our anniversary. The staff was very welcoming and the kitchen was very accommodating of my pregnancy. It's my first pregnancy so I'm a little nervous about certain foods but they made sure everything was perfect. They even had non-alcoholic beer! The chef surprised us with a new off menu dessert, which was delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

    Our dinner was delicious with each dish having several different flavors and textures. So many restaurants seem to rely on salt to make a dish taste good and this one does not. We did the 5 course fixed price meal and each course was so good. Go hungry!

    Incredible experience, everything was amazing. Went all in on the 5 course with wine paring, definitely would recommend.
