£65 per head for starter and main and glass of Prosecco. Portions were on the small side, tuna overcooked, service slow and lacked passion and engagement. Atmosphere was lacking and lighting was too bright. Nice position on Marylebone high street and quirky through door of fish mongers to restaurant but feel thy could do so much more. Underwhelmed - We shall not be back in a hurry.

When walking into the restaurant, you enter through a fish mongers. There’s a discreet door saying Restaurant, which is a cute way to start your epicurean adventure. The fish is the main event, with the restaurant boasting the best fish and chips in the UK. They did not fail our expectations. The drinks are also nice, and the wine choice was plentiful although costly. Dessert of apple and raspberry crumble was great and they allowed a substitution of Vanilla Ice Cream instead of Custard. All in all a good choice/

Another excellent meal at Fishworks, Marylebone. The seafood linguine was delicious and a very generous portion. The seafood grill was also well received. Turned out we didn't need the sides (spinach and chips) but they were very good. Atmosphere was lively in Wednesday evening but as the tables are well spaced, no problem with chatting. Service was friendly and attentive. No problems at all in attracting the attention of our waiter in a fairly busy restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit.

The restaurant has all the fresh seafood displayed out front, so you can see what you’re getting. The table setup was simple. We started with the quinoa salad (3/5) and tuna carpaccio (2.5/5). The tuna was fresh, but the sauce was way too salty for me—pretty sure they used fish sauce. For mains, we had the seafood & samphire linguine (5/5) the seafood grill (3.5/5), and the veganesca linguine (5/5). The seafood pasta had a lot volume, and I really enjoyed it. Just wish I had asked for parmigiano since they don’t offer it. The seafood grill came with a scallop that I wasn’t a fan of because it had breadcrumbs on top, the prawns were decent, and the fillets were fresh and full of flavor. Thankfully, they were nicely salted. The veganesca linguine was freshly made, and the nuts added a nice crunch. For dessert, we got the brownie with ice cream (5/5) —it was perfect, gone in seconds. As for drinks, we went with juices since we don’t drink alcohol. They weren’t freshly made, but we didn’t really mind. The staff were attentive, but the restaurant can get really busy and loud. Overall, I’d recommend it!

I have visited Fishwork multiple times, and unfortunately, this time the fish & chips did not meet the usual high standards I have come to expect. It was too oily, whereas the batter is normally light, crispy, and not greasy. Of course, an off night can happen, but I encourage you to keep an eye on quality and maintain the excellent level you usually offer.

Fishworks is definitely my Number 1 seafood restaurant in London. I had dinner with my niece and, as always, it was an amazing experience. She had the deboned Dover sole and I had the Seafood Bouillabaisse. We also shared starters of mussels, bread, olives and grilled shrimps. Exquisite! This small, intimate and lovely place continues to deliver the freshest, tastiest, healthiest fish and seafood in town. The staff are outstanding, the food is excellent, the wine list is robust and the ambience is exceptional. A wonderful restaurant that is Top rated. Thank you for the pleasure you provide us with your service, your meals and your offerings. We will definitely keep coming back.
