The first thing I noticed when I entered the dining room was how noisy it was. Of course I understood that the restaurant cannot control how loudly people talk amongst themselves but the noise level was so high we had to shout to be heard by the person across the table from us. The food was mediocre. My fiancés and my sister’s steak were very charred on the outside and cooked to a warmer temperature than they had requested. They did not send them back because it took nearly an hour to get our meals. I ordered the salmon without barbecue sauce (why anyone would put barbecue sauce on salmon is beyond me but that’s beside the point). When I inquired if I the salmon could be prepared with blackened seasoning or some other seasoning I was told it would just be prepared with salt and pepper. While the salmon was good and cooked nicely a bit more flavor would have been appreciated. My mom got the sea scallops and my dad also got a steak. Each of them stated their meals were delicious. My dad’s steak was cook to his liking and my mom didn’t leave one sea scallop on her plate. Honestly it has been a while since we have been to Flemings and I’ll have to say it’ll be a while before we go back. It seems that each time we go the steaks are charred on the outside and overcooked on the inside. For the cost of the steaks we except better.

This is our favorite Dayton restaurant and we go fairly often. They treat us well and we almost always have fabulous service. The food is always wonderful although my steak had a small portion of it that was tough to cut. Eli the manager is so warm and welcoming. This trip our server was just fair. He did not check back with us very often and the bill was not right. We had a gift card and dine rewards to use and he wrote down both numbers to be sure to deduct from the bill. I could tell he was feeling overwhelmed and I told my husband I bet he ends up not deducting everything. That is exactly what happened. He deducted the $10 Dine Rewards but neglected to deduct our $100 gift card. We asked him to fix it because the $168 immediately showed up on our CC. He went back and deducted the $100 from the gift card and we paid the $68 (+ a 22% tip in spite of the issue). As of Sat morning, both the correct charges and $168 was showing on our CC so we are monitoring Monday morning to see if it falls off. That said, we still love Flemings and everyone has a bad night once in awhile. The restaurant was fairly busy too.

I love this Flemings. Great service. The value of Tomahawk Tuesdays. You can’t go wrong. One of the best steakhouses in Dayton.

We always enjoy every bite and total experience. Staff is professional, attentive and friendly. Filet is excellent, Salmon is perfectly prepared and sides are delicious. Flemings potatoes have been changed a bit and not as spice forward but still delicious. Steak was prepared as ordered and drinks were spot on.

Food was SUBPAR compared to previous times I have been especially for the orice. I thought my filet was not tender and kind of tough. Husbands filet was cold. Kind of disappointed in our meal overall.

My son and I eat here every year on our trip to the USAF Museum. Fleming’s is amazing the perfect dinner for our annual trip! Will be back next year!
