We also feature a deep list of spirits, fine wines and specialty beer. Both the kitchen and bar utilize fresh ingredients from our farm in Woodside California. Timber & Salt has intimate indoor seating for over 50 guests and an enclosed, heated outdoor patio for up to 30 guests. We are open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.

    Such a beautiful restaurant! The lovely chandeliers lit up and beautifully set tables were so nice. We had a wonderful waiter who helped with selections. We had the lobster roll which was nice and light, no heavy dressing. Nice luncheon size. Along with that we added truffle fries which were bomb! So good! The 2nd entree were ordered was the Chinese chicken salad which hubby said was very good, with light dressing. Very enjoyable lunch! Thank you!

    We were seated immediately and service throughout our lunch was impeccable. We started with Champagne recommeneded by the sommelier and it was wonderful. The prix fixe menu offered a good variety of selections. We both opted for the beet and pistachio salad, which was an excellent combination of red and yellow beets, a few mandarin orange segments and a small scoop of goat cheese with a crust of pistachios. My seatmate had the striped bass and found it delicious. I had the crab risotto which was perfect—good chunks of crab and creamy risotto. Dessert was beignets for me and a complimentary birthday cake and ice cream bon bon with candle for my seat mate. To round things out, a Champagne by the glass and an espresso. Woodside Pub must also be complimented for the ambience. The room was elegant without being pretentious or overwrought. And the lighting was perfect - not too bright or too dark, just right to flatter but far from the harsh lighting found in some establishments.

    We celebrated our 20th and Selbys was the perfect spot. We've been there many times, so we knew what to expect. They didn't disappoint! The service, drinks, food, and experience was perfect. We'll be back (again and again)!

    My friend and I went for my birthday dinner! What a delight in every way! the staff is happy and friendly, without being intrusive. the portions are generous and—well , we are both foodies—so perfectly plated and seasoned. We each had a cocktail special, and then we shared mapled brussel sprouts, a ribeye, scallops, and mashed potatoes. We weren't gong to but we cave for the perfect little lemon meringue tart! Oh!And the piped music was lively and the dining crowd clearly enjoying the food, the atmosphere and each other. What a happy place!
