Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy.     Outstanding meal. Great attentive service. Excellent food from the French Onion Soup and Hamachi Crudo appetizers to classic entrees Trout Almondine, Mussels Mariniere in a sublime white wine sauce with shallots and Creme Fraiche, and Filet au Poivre with a delicious cognac black pepper sauce. Belgian Endive Salad also very solid while the Bartender was on his game. All around great French Bistro vibe. And Chocolate Souffle to cap it off. A winner!

    A magical Christmas experience! Service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Every single thing we ate tasted fresh and homemade, which is unheard of these days. And everyone was so kind to us. As first time parents with our four month old in tow, it meant the world!

    This was our first time at Bacari Sherman Oaks, after going to locations in Silver Lake and Third Street in Los Angeles - and it was every bit as good, if not more impressive, than their other locations. Our server, Casey, was fantastic. The setting is exquisite, and the food is absolutely sensational. We have some favorites that we always (and will always) order: Carmelized Pork Belly, Caprese, Brussells Sprouts, Lamb Hummus. We brought friends who had never been to any of the Bacaris and they loved it as well. We'll be back VERY soon!
