Not the best Gaucho, it’s been refurbished and looks nice, except ladies toilet doors which still need to looked at and look pretty yuck with the dirt marks from previous fittings still viable. They need to revisit their timings we saw a major if not all table in and out within an hour. We started to experience the same and we told our server that we wanted the full 1 hour and 3/4 time for our table. She said no problem. So here are where the issues start… I had a cocktail and had not finished it when they took it away. Our starters arrived and I asked where my cocktails was and she apologised and they got me a replacement- no problem. We finished the starters which was lovely and they quickly removed our dishes however I still had a last mouthful of the starters when our main course was put in front of us, I looked confused as I was thinking we hadn’t even been given time to digest the first course however we thought ok let’s just have our steak, I touched the steak and realised it was only Luke warm, the plate was cold, I cut in to the meat and it was inedible. This was also the case for my hubby’s steak too.. so they took it back the managers rectified it and the meal proceeded as originally requested with our main course on warm plates and cooked as originally ordered. Now we asked for the bill and they gave us a complimentary shot and mini dessert taster which was nice as it was our anniversary. We got the bill and they had deducted just over 30% of the bill for the inconvenience . The manager came over and gave us her card and said to contact her next time and she will make sure we have a better experience. I’m not sure that we will go back but appreciate the sentiment and in fairness the staff dealt with the issues as efficiently and properly as possible. However the problems that we incurred should not have happened in the first place, cocktails being taken away before finished. Rushing the experience, cold plates, inedible steak not cooked to order.

Had a celebratory meal and it was fabulous! The food was outstanding and so was the service. I recommend the empanadas, probably one of the best starters i’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend

The restaurant had only just reopened after a refit and perhaps had a few teething issues. We arrived slightly early and were told that the bar was full & that we should go for a walk outside for 10 minutes. We asked to use the bathroom first & went upstairs to find that there was room in the bar so we took the initiative & sat down. Nobody really acknowledged us so I ended up going to the bar myself & ordering a couple of drinks. We were then taken to our table & given menus, although not the Valentine's menu that we had booked, I had to ask for these. Things improved from this point & we had a great meal - super value as well as a great view of Tower Bridge.

Before the renovation, this was our favorite steak house. Yesterday we visited the renovated restaurant and were slightly disappointed. The steak was not cooked to the degree as asked for. They quickly took it and brought a compliment from the kitchen. The french fries were soft and not tasty. When we made the reservation, I mentioned that will be my husband birthday. The administrator even asked again whose birthday it was, but they still did not bring a decorated dessert and candle. Of course, these are all small things, but they make up the whole picture of the restaurant. We write it off as the fact that they just opened and the team has not yet worked together. We have another reservation in March, if the minus remains, we will have to look for another place.
