The food was absolutely delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly. And the view….the best in Malibu. We had a great experience and can’t wait to go back.

It's a nice view but actually the sunset is not easily viewed from 1/2 of the restaurant. The food is not up to par with the prices they are charging. I tried the sea bass and it was the tiniest sliver of fish. The steak tasted more like chain restaurant (think Sizzler not Morton's) vs. a nice restaurant for $70. The salads were big portions but not that great. Unfortunately we will not be back because of the quality of the food even with the view of the ocean (not the sunset since we couldn't see it) was not worth the prices.

Great food, we had at the lobster quiche, which was excellent, and the best Creme Brulee with custard and chocolate mousse it was the best! Parking is a very tight issue, but they have valet parking for a charge of $15, which they add to your bill.

We love Geoffreys! The service and ambiance was superb for our Sunday Brunch! Reception by the host staff and Mary, our server, were top notch. A couple of hiccups in the kitchen though. How could the tuna tartar with sushi grade tuna come out and have a fishy smell/aftertaste!? Shouldn't happen like that at Geoffreys. Also while the half dozen raw oysters were very fresh, their choice of the Rhode Island variety presented tiny tidbit bites per oyster. Our preference would be to receive a more satisfying bite from eating an oyster on the half shell. Otherwise this was an exquisite experience of a perfect day overlooking Malibu at Geoffreys.

I have been here many times. It is by far the best venue for ocean viewing although you can’t see sunsets due to the geography of the land. They do have 180 degrees of ocean on a large patio and you will see dolphins and the like. And the food and cocktails are fantastic! Great for brunch!
