   Scrumptious southern cooking, live Jazz band, wonderfully crafted cocktails with a romantic and classy ambiance, what’s not to love? Georgia Brown’s hits all the marks for me! My husband and I went in for their 4 course Sunday brunch menu and were delighted from start to finish. The starter gumbo and salmon salad were divine, we both went to the omelette station and were please with the variety of ingredients to choose from. As we settled in to enjoying that we were delighted to see the jazz band start in full swing, awesome performance that really added to the vibe of the restaurant. I chose shrimp and grits and my husband had the steak and eggs, both were delicious! We can’t wait to go back!

   Exquisite food and wonderful atmosphere! Everything was so flavorful and unique, and the drinks were fabulous! Highly recommend the sangria. Servers and staff were friendly and attentive.

   The service, the food, and experience was simply amazing. My only complaint was the cake cutting fee which is $5 per person if you bring an outside cake. Our waiter was very accommodating, gave great suggestions for the items on the menu. This might not be the place for picky people since substitutions are not allowed. I would like something like a build your own dish, b/c there are some sides I just didn’t like paired. They offered for the guest to add a side, but it would mean food being uneaten in my case, so I opted for the shrimp and grits since I would eat all of it.

   The occasion was to celebrate the life of my stepfather who was buried at Arlington Cemetery today. We had family in town from CA, NC and FL so we decided to bring our guest to Georgia Brown for lunch. It was AMAZING and a wonderful dining experience and delicious food and drinks. Thank you for your hospitality Georgia Brown’s.. 5 stars! ❤️

   Visiting dc for a quick weekend trip. Wanted to experience something different and not typical in DC so saw some good reviews for GB and made reservations for a Friday night at 8:30. The start was very slow. We were promptly seated on time but waited several minutes before our waitress came to greet us. Approx. 8 minutes. For more clarity we were seated at 835 and didn’t get our drinks u til 9:06. We had to repeat our order twice to the waitress. Once for our entrees and another for the dessert we had already ordered. The food did not disappoint. Even with the slow inattentive service I have no complaints about the food. We had the fritto mixto fresh light battered seafood and veggies. Green fried tomatoes were firm and tasty. Fried chicken plate 3.5/5, chicken was seasoned well and fried good. Mashed potatoes could use help. Gravy was a nice addition. Devil shrimp was good. You get 3 large stuffed shrimp. It’s basically mini crab cakes on top of shrimp 4/5. The drinks were strong which we never mind especially having to wait more that 30 mins for them. The banana pudding was spot except the bananas were browning beyond my liking. I would def come back but hoping for a different service experience.

   Server was great though it took a while for us to receive our food. Good menu but it does not allow for substitutions.

    Great as always. Nice ambiance, server (Kai or Khai or Ky) was absolutely lovely! Host was also lovely. Drinks were great, bartender was on point even with the bar being busy from what I saw.
