My wife and I recently had dinner at GA Shrimp Co. and had a very good meal. We were tucked into a booth that seemed private and cozy. We've eaten here several times and always enjoy it. Our server (Olivia, I think) was excellent. Very personable without being faux friendly and very efficient. We ordered Brussles Sprouts and a couple of side salads to start. The Brussels sprouts were great, crispy outside and tender and sweet inside with a very flavorful sauce. Topping them with toasted peanuts was a nice touch. The Martini that I ordered was far too dirty and I had to send it back. The replacement was excellent. I don't know why so many bartenders have trouble with such a simple drink. I had bleu cheese dressing on my salad and it was subpar- very little bleu cheese taste. My wife had the fried shrimp and lemon rice. The shrimp were medium large, perfectly done and very flavorful. If you're a fried shrimp fan, this is a good place to eat! I had the mahi-mahi, steamed vegetables and crispy potatoes. The mahi is grilled with a dusting of parmesan and served with a creamy garlic sauce. The fish was perfectly grilled with good flavor and the parmesan really enhanced the dish. The sauce was very good and also blended well with the rest of the dish. The vegetables were excellent with just enough crunch and seasoning. The potatoes were also very good. When we made our reservation, I mentioned that it was a birthday celebration and we were comped a serving of Malva to share. This was delicious! It's a spongey bread pudding served with caramelized sugar and a cream sauce with more cream to pour on. Overall, we had a very good dinner and excellent service. The problem with the martini is something that happens at too many places these days and was easily solved. The problem with the bleu cheese dressing should be addressed, though. What I had was edible but inexcusable at a good restaurant.

One of our favorite places to go for dinner. We had our granddaughter and her friend with us. They enjoyed the shrimp scampi and shrimp and scallop linguine. Plans to attend the wine dinner are on deck.

I might return & recommend them. The food was a good solid 7. I was served an incomplete dish which had to be returned to the kitchen. Server was new and I presumed unaware of how the dish should present, and forgot elements of the order. She was great with drinks & desert recommendations. The menu seemed to have a South African tint to it which would have been nice to know prior. Ambiance was very nice. Items were fairly priced. Enjoyed it overall.

As usual, dinner was superb… we are never disappointed. There was a special menu this evening from which I chose the scallops as my appetizer… simply devine. My husband had the spinach filled portabella mushrooms for the first time as his appetizer… won’t be the last time as they were delicious and perfectly prepared. As usual, we had the Fish & Chips (substituted creamed spinach for the fries). The fresh Basa was perfectly seasoned and fried… this is one of our favorite entrees at GSC. Tonight, there was live music featuring vocalist Toni Byrd. Toni is one of our favorite artists and we truly enjoy the experience each and every time that we see her perform. BRAVO!

This is one of our favorite dining spots. My husband had the peri peri dish which is one of his favorites and I had the fish skillet with basa and grilled shrimp. It was very good.
