Picturesque. Bread was cold. Pasta is better at an Olive Garden. Fish was gamy and Oysters Rockefeller were the only thing worth mentioning.

Ordered entree, wine, a Paloma, and chicken for my son. They brought the chicken out in 5 min, which was great bc my 9 year old was starving, although server said he thought he may have stolen someone else’s chicken from the window. The Paloma was so bad I asked to send it back. It wasn’t a big deal, the server didn’t seem mad. It seemed like maybe the bartender didn’t know how to make it and used lemon instead of grapefruit. Then we waited 1 hour and 15 min for our entree. Asked server 2x to check on food. Still nothing. Then asked server to remove from bill and bring check since it had been over an hour. After another 30 min he removed just the entree from our bill and nothing else. No apology. No explanation. Other than the bread they brought at the beginning of the meal, we never received any food. One of our worst dining experiences ever. I will never go back.

Terrible old fashioned for what was charged. Oysters can with the cocktail and other sauce in a paper medicine cup - not classy. Oyster selection and quality excellent. Sourdough rolls were rocks. Veggies served with fish looked like they were previously frozen.

I really wanted to see this iconic place in Grand Station. I was very happy to see the diversity of the oysters, all fresh and tasty. But I was also very disappointed by the fish (very dry and over cooked) and scallops (oversalted and small). Frankly, I was expecting this place more premium in terms of food, tableware and service, all the more as the prices are not cheap !

Service was fantastic. Waiter was helpful and kind. Did nothing special, but glad I finally tried it. Oysters good but 55 for a dozen.

Classic NYC experience! Hidden gem. Experienced and very knowledgeable staff. Seafood always very fresh.

Love the historical setting. The oysters are delicious. And our server was great. One of my favorite places

We were a group of 4, there was a bug in one of our dinners. The wait staff passed around the plate to view - very weird - then said they would bring a new plate. After a 30 minute wait and everyone else finished with their meal, we told them to forget it and just take it off the bill. They could have been much more apologetic and offered a free drink or something. Between appetizers, dinner and drinks, the bill was over $400!!!! Very disappointing!
