This used to be my "go to" superior dining experience when I lived here. I returned since I moved back and it seems that they are just resting on their laurels. I had a $50 Halibut filet and it was average at best, very little flavor. I heard the same comments from most of the guests at our table. The seats in the main dining room were even uncomfortable with little/no padding, almost as bad as the metal outside chairs. Very sad indeed as it used to be top of the line for fine dining.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with a wonderful meal in a lovely setting, served by kind and caring staff. Old world charm and hospitality at it's best! We've been going there for over 20 years, and expect we'll continue going there until they tell us we're not welcome! We've never had a disappointing meal there.

Sunday brunch was very good. I recommend making a reservation since it gets crowded. Very nice venue and excellent service.

Been to Greenbriar several times now and had been going back for the consistency of high service and high quality. During our drive we were commenting that ever since COVID being super selective in our choices due to lack of consistency and poor service. I guess we spoke it into existence, this was our first disappointment. Half the dishes were simply okay. The waitstaff was low energy. Our head waiter was not on point. Cocktails took forever to come. Fumbled wine service. Blown order. One of us always orders the signature Beef Wellington. Not tonight. Waiter thought we ordered a Filet not the Wellington. Not sure they sound similar. The polenta cake was odd. The filet was cooked well but not the best piece of meat. Another dish, the wild Boar was tasty but the lentil purée lacked flavor and was a bit odd in texture. Other companions enjoyed the Lasagne and halibut. After we declined desert, the (dining room manager/somm?) popped a 2008 Château d'Yquem Sauternes which was a nice touch to make up for the botched order but it simply didn’t make up for the desired experience.

Thank you to the Greenbriar Inn for another wonderful experience. We loved the Arugula & Apple Salad, the Seared Crab Cakes, and most of all the Butterscotch Budino for dessert. The food is always tasty & satisfying at The Greenbriar, but this time it was exceptional.

We enjoyed an early dinner at The Greenbriar Inn, and from beginning to end, everything was delicious, immaculately plated and presented. All throughout, our servers were nothing but cordial, attentive, and thoughtful. What a special and beautiful location - we look forward to having our wedding here later in the year!

In celebration of our wedding anniversary, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Greenbriar last evening. We were seated in the bar area (our choice) and our bartender and server, Matt, was very attentive with our cocktails as well as our dinners. We ordered the soup of the day which was very tasty and the Arugula and Apple Salad (blue cheese on the side). The salad was absolutely incredible! For our main entrees, we ordered the Grilled Colorado Filet of Beef and the Beef Wellington. Both dishes were fantastic! Dessert was the Lemon Blueberry Tart which was divine! The Greenbriar is always our go-to for any special occasion. The service and food quality are excellent and the ambiance cannot be beat. Thank you, Greenbriar, for another fantastic anniversary dinner!
