Ouvert en novembre 2010, le restaurant Hakkasan Mayfair est la deuxième addition londonienne à la célèbre marque de Hakkasan. Dégustez une cuisine contemporaine cantonaise créée par le chef Tong Chee Hwee dans une ambiance élégante. Des cocktails innovateurs et une carte des vins unique se marient aux plats de dim sum et aux plats typiques chinois dynamiques, nouveaux et toujours en évolution. L'ensemble: une cuisine cantonaise authentique avec une touche contemporaine à la fois subtile et sensationnelle, faite avec les meilleurs ingrédients. Hakkasan Mayfair comprend deux étages. The food is incredible. The service is excellent but food service is a bit of a wait. Great overall though.

Not quite the Michelin star experience we expected. Waited over 15 mins and no one came to ask us about drinks? Service throughout was patchy. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Good wine and cocktail menu.

The place doesn’t have the same wonderful vibe or the original. Service was excellent. But way way overpriced

We were greeted by a lovely gentleman at reception, who made us feel very welcome and who said we were going to be seated at our table by one of his colleagues. Instead of being seated at the table, we were seated at the bar for 1/2 hour because our table wasn’t ready. I asked for a flower tea that came 30 mins later. When we were finally seated at our table (booking at 18:30, seated at 19:00), our waitress was lovely. She knew the menu very well, she explained what we were eating, she was lovely and helpful. The desert was served by someone else, a lady wearing a grey dress which I believe must have been a supervisor. We were very disappointed with how she served the desert: no explanation of what it was, she didn’t come to ask if everything was ok, if we wanted coffee/tea. Instead she came at 7:40 to tell us that our table is booked for 20:30 and we need to move to the bar if we want to stay longer. We were supposed to have the table for 2 hours. We just paid the bill and left. Altogether it was good, apart from the long wait to be seated at the table, the lady who served the desert and who was a big let down for Hakkasan and the whole experience and the fact that we were rushed at the end although it was not our fault that we had to wait 1/2 hour to be seated at our table.

The food was amazing we had the set lunch menu along with the peking dunk it was outstanding food and great value for money everything was beautiful

Went to celebrate my birthday. I was told upfront that would incur an extra £5 per head cakeage fee if we were bringing a cake so we left the cake at home. On getting to the restaurant we had to wait 5mins before anyone appeared to take us to our table. When we got to our table it was almost another 10 minutes before we could get any one’s attention to bring us the correct menu. When the food did arrive it was really nice but just couldn’t understand the poor service when there did seem to be a lot of staff around doing nothing.

Portions were generous for the similar restaurants with similar prices. The dishes we got to try were very delicious.
