Harbor Seafood & Steak Co. opened in August 2014 and is located on the corner of 2100 South & 2300 East in Sugar House. Since then, Harbor has been serving quality interpretations of classic dishes with the highest level of ingredients.

We wanted to create a neighborhood restaurant that gives our guests a sense of home. Our menu is based on simple comfort food, where the taste and quality stands for what we believe in. Founded by Randall Curtis & Taylor Jacobsen, our goal was simple: give our guests not only the freshest seafood and wagyu steaks but also serve an affordable wine selection and great artisan cocktails for only $13.5. And oh yeah, the music is great too.

                                                                                                We had a little blurp in service but the staff went above and beyond after. There was some kind of mix up and we were left for several minutes with just our cocktails-albeit tasty old fashions. We eventually had coconut shrimp on the house that was good but I did not care for the beef and shrimp eggrolls nor the sauce. The wedge salad was very good as was the delicious rolls. (Some of the best I’ve had) I was looking forward to the chowder however, I think it was concentrated down to a very rich thick cream by 9 in the evening. The clams and crab were excellent in the chowder but I could only eat a few bites. We were also given a strawberry mousse dessert that was excellent. The staff is very good - our waiter admitted his slip and was very attentive thereafter. We love Salt Lake City folks! I would definitely come back to this lovely restaurant.

                                                                                                We just moved here from out of state and were craving surf and turf from the east coast. We decided to trek in the rain from about 30 minutes away because the pictures of the food here looked amazing. I will admit we were a little put off when we pulled in and noticed the parking lot and restaurant looked empty which isn't always a good sign on a Saturday night. The outside is very unassuming. We both had the Wagyu filet and added lobster tail- a little outside of our normal price range but it was a special occasion for us, and OMG it was AMAZING!!! Service was good. My only negatives would be to say for their price points that bread service should at least be included, and the presentation looked nothing like the photos shared by the restaurant.

                                                                                                The food is above average overall. Little details, which should be there for the price, are not there. Not great food but above average. Good service. 2 tops are really small, having to call to confirm instead of text is annoying. We like the place and have gone few times, will repeat...just not as much as we would with better execution (examples, don't serve salmon tail pieces for the price, season steaks and a better search, have salt and pepper on the table)
