L'établissement Harwood Arms a rouvert ses portes en septembre 2008 après des travaux de rénovation nécessaires. Ce havre de paix rural situé au cœur de Fulham est né d'une collaboration entre Brett Graham du célèbre restaurant Ledbury, Mike Robinson du pub prisé Pot Kiln se trouvant dans le Berkshire rural et Edwin Vaux de la brasserie réputée Vaux. L'idée est de proposer aux Londoniens un lieu vraiment décontracté pour déguster les meilleurs produits britanniques dans des plats au goût inégalable, accompagnés d'une excellente bière et d'un verre de vin, le tout à un prix intéressant.

We visited for my partner’s birthday, and it was a lovely touch that they gave a card and a small plate with a candle. The food was really nice, but the portion sizes were disappointing for the price. The deer main course, for example, had only a few small pieces of meat, and the tiny bowl of potatoes to share between two felt insufficient—there really should be one per person. The service was friendly, but overall, the portion sizes need improvement.

Came for the byo deal really. But the food and warm reception were both first class. Thought the presentation on the mains was a bit OTT but the pork dish was really amazing. Great lunch

It was excellent . The Scottish egg and the gratin cauliflower that comes with the roast were definitely my favorites .

Finally got to try the Sunday Roast. It was amazing. The food was divine. Excellent service. Great venue. We will be back and definitely recommend.

Including the discretionary 8% tip, and £7.5 supplement for beef, £78 for a two course Sunday roast is not sufficiently good value.
