Incredible food and ambiance! We had delicious steaks, monkfish and sides-mushrooms, mac n cheese, butter potatoes. The dessert-sticky toffee pudding was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!

We enjoyed our meal very much. The bone marrow and onion starter was delicious, the filet was perfectly cooked. The only downside of the meal would be towards the end. We were both really full and could not finish our meals-to which the server ridiculed us for. She even said "what a waste", offered to package it up but we declined and let her know we are just visiting and she snarkily replied "oh are you leaving tomorrow or something? Take it home" Excuse me? We explained we were heading to a show straight from dinner and she was not happy. I have never been ridiculed by a server for what I ate or did not eat. If anything else, they are usually concerned and ask if everything tasted ok not ridicule and monitor. It really soured the experience as a whole.

Table booked for 4.30pm. Myself, wife and two teenage children. Arrived early, very friendly and helpful reception staff. Went downstairs to the bar, unfortunately kept waiting for 20mins even though bar not busy at all. I had to approach a staff member just to get a drinks menu. Ordered cocktails, they were excellent when they arrived. In the dining room, had starters, main, dessert and one bottle of cheaper wine. £402.00. Expensive, but the food was excellent, no complaints. Time to leave, walked upstairs, 3 different staff members at reception. My family and the three staff members were the only people there at the time. My wife handed the cloakroom ticket to a female reception staff member. I was standing by the slide door wardrobe opposite the reception desk. Whilst the ticket was being handed over, I slid open the wardrobe door trying to be a gentlemen for the staff member and also expedite the coat and bag retrieval process. The female member of staff was SO rude to me for opening the door. I tried to remain as polite as possible so as not to cause a scene, but she continued to try and belittle me in front of my family. It was completely unnecessary and a total overreaction. I was and still am absolutely furious, it ruined what should have been a great dining experience. This sort of customer service has no place in your industry.

Brilliant meal on the express menu. Good portion sizes, you don’t need any extra sides if ordering 3 courses. Speedy service. Gents loos could have done with a clean

I don’t know why I went again after my last experience was disappointing. This time no different. I told them we were going to the theatre and needed to be quick. 90 it took for our steak. So we couldn’t have the express menu pudding as we ran out of time. It was hard to get service and the cocktail was so sweet.

The best service, staff very efficient without being over the top, special shout to Ester who looked after us very well. The complimentary dessert for my fiancé’s birthday was appreciated too. Also BYO wine on Mondays for the £5 corkage was a bonus. Our champagne was kept topped up regularly!

Great meal, pleasant surroundings with my fave people, but the bill was pretty extortionate tbh (£60 service charge, really!?!?)
